Requirement: Finance officer

We are looking for a highly competent

Accounting & Finance Skilled with strong expertise in core accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and team leadership to join our Accounts & Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Supervise and mentor the finance/accounts team, allocate work, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Coordinate finance activities across one or more campuses/locations and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Manage end-to-end

General Ledger (GL)

accounting, bookkeeping, and ledger scrutiny. Handle journal entries , invoice processing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and account finalization. Perform bank reconciliations , customer/vendor reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and support cash flow planning. Ensure compliance with

GST, TDS, statutory requirements , and coordinate internal, statutory, and external audits. Maintain financial records in accordance with accounting standards, organizational policies,



and regulatory requirements. Work on ERP systems, preferably

SAP , and demonstrate solid proficiency in MS Excel.

Eligibility

Postgraduate qualification is mandatory

(M.Com / MBA Finance).

CA Inter or

Chartered Accountant (CA)

will be an added advantage. 5+ years of relevant experience in core accounting and finance. Proven expertise in

General Ledger, journal entries, invoice processing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, financial reporting, account finalization, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance . Prior experience leading or managing a finance/accounts team with the ability to guide, mentor, and drive performance. Experience coordinating finance operations across multiple locations/campuses/business units is highly preferred. Experience in

University/Higher Education finance , including knowledge of university financial procedures, audits, regulatory norms, and statutory compliance, will be an added advantage. Hands-on experience with

SAP ERP is preferred.
