Position Summary The Field Supervisor Engineer is responsible for supervising daily field execution of Telecom & OFC projects, ensuring quality workmanship, efficient manpower utilization, compliance with safety standards, and timely completion of deployment activities.
3. Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field activities and allocate manpower, machinery, tools and equipment effectively.
- Monitor duct laying, chamber installation, cable blowing, fiber splicing, testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, client specifications and company procedures.
- Monitor material consumption, maintain daily site records, DPRs and work logs.
- Coordinate with Deployment Engineers for work planning, execution schedules and issue resolution.
- Support contractors and field teams to achieve daily deployment targets.
- Identify execution issues and escalate technical concerns promptly.
- Verify completed work before client inspection and handover.
- Maintain site discipline and ensure proper housekeeping.
4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure manpower safety during all field activities.
- Enforce compliance with HSE regulations and client safety requirements.
- Monitor mandatory PPE usage by all workers and contractors.
- Promote secure work practices and conduct toolbox talks.
- Report unsafe conditions and assist in corrective actions.

6. Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Civil or related discipline.
