Responsibilities

- Deploy, calibrate and test Cow Necklace sensors and Sriya AgriVet Monitors in working dairy and crop environments
- Run the 45-60 day calibration period with each recent deployment, gathering the feed and farm management inputs the models need in the first three months
- Engage directly with small farmers, veterinarians and cooperatives to understand local conditions and what the data must answer
- Train end users on the device, the app and the dashboard - in their own language
- Collect and organise sensor data on livestock health, crop condition and climate, and feed field observations back to the data science and product teams
- Troubleshoot hardware and software on site, in low-connectivity conditions, without waiting for anybody
- Keep accurate logs of deployments, farmer interviews, device performance and user feedback

Requirements





- Bachelors or Masters in Data Science, Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science or Veterinary Science
- Working knowledge of IoT sensing, data collection and basic analytics
- Fluent English plus at least one Indian language - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi or Kashmiri
- Willing to travel extensively to rural and semi-urban districts
- Comfortable in low-connectivity environments and unexpected field conditions
- Empathy and respect for rural communities, farmers and cooperative systems
- Loves to see farmers succeed, understands their pain points, and can explain a recommendation in words a farmer uses
