About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Dairy Farm Intern to join our team on a modern dairy farm in Denmark. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in dairy farm operations, animal husbandry, and Danish agricultural practices, ideal for students or early-career individuals pursuing a future in agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily milking routines using modern milking equipment (parlour or robotic systems)
- Feed, monitor, and care for dairy cattle, including calves and young stock
- Support with herd health monitoring — spotting signs of illness, heat, or injury
- Help maintain barns, stalls, and equipment in clean and safe working condition
- Assist with calving and general reproductive management tasks
- Operate or assist with farm machinery (tractors, feed mixers, etc.) under supervision
- Support pasture and field management, including feed crop handling
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, health checks, and milk production
- Follow farm biosecurity and animal welfare protocols at all times

Requirements

- Genuine interest in agriculture, animal husbandry, or dairy farming




- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including early mornings
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labor
- Basic English communication skills (Danish is a plus but not required)
- Prior farm or agricultural experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Valid work permit/visa eligibility for Denmark (or willingness to apply through sponsor)
- Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
