- Oversee all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security, and elevator systems
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifecycle and minimize downtime
- Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and business continuity planning
Team Leadership Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor technical staff, including engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel
- Manage relationships with external contractors, service providers, and vendors
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring quality standards and cost-effectiveness
- Develop and manage annual technical services budgets
Compliance Safety
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
- Manage environmental health and safety programs
- Coordinate regulatory inspections and maintain required certifications
- Implement and monitor safety protocols and training programs
Required Qualifications Education Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field
- 7-10+ years of experience in commercial facility management or technical services
- 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
Technical Skills
- Solid knowledge of building systems and mechanical/electrical equipment
- Understanding of building automation systems and energy management
- Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
