Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Sourcing Manager to lead fabric sourcing and supplier development activities. The role involves developing suppliers, fabric development, costing, quality coordination, order follow-up, and ensuring timely availability of fabrics for production.

Role & responsibilities

- Develop and manage a robust network of fabric suppliers, mills, and manufacturers.
- Source fabrics as per product requirements, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Purchase teams for fabric requirements.
- Develop new fabrics, qualities, constructions, blends, and finishes as required.
- Coordinate for fabric sampling, lab dips, strike-offs, sample approvals, and bulk production.
- Ensure fabrics are sourced and delivered as per required quality, quantity, cost, and delivery schedule.
- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions for quality or delivery issues.




- Conduct regular supplier evaluation and maintain supplier performance records.
- Track fabric orders from sourcing to delivery and ensure timely availability for production.
- Work closely with the Quality team to resolve fabric quality issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain effective relationships with existing suppliers and develop long-term business partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, alternate sourcing, and supplier consolidation.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintain sourcing-related records and reports.
- Handle supplier complaints, delays, shortages, and quality concerns effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

- Candidates from Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology/Textile Engineering/ or related field.
- Required Experience: 8-12 and above Years
- Salary is totally negotiable.
