EXIM Manager FMCG / Beverages - 10+ Years - Mumbai

Are you an experienced EXIM professional with strong expertise in Export-Import Documentation, Export Licensing, Trade Regulations, and International Business Operations? We are looking for a dynamic professional to manage end-to-end EXIM documentation, licensing, trade compliance, export incentives, and coordination with regulatory authorities and internal/external stakeholders within the International Business Division.

Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end import shipments covering Capex, spares, consumables, and RMPM, ensuring timely documentation, coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage export licensing activities, including application, obligation fulfilment, redemption, closure, subsequent utilization for imports, and outsourcing, transfer, and utilization of licenses.
- Maintain comprehensive license records and statements and coordinate related audits, while ensuring timely closure of Advance License, EPCG, PEPCG, MEIS, and other applicable EXIM benefit schemes.
- Coordinate with DGFT, Customs, and other regulatory authorities and stay updated on Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), trade regulations, and new policies impacting the organization's international business operations.
- Manage and coordinate with external service vendors, including CHA, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, license vendors, and consultants,



ensuring timely and efficient execution of EXIM activities.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific legal, regulatory, product, packaging, and labelling requirements, while coordinating with factories and relevant teams for product costing, packaging standards, regulatory requirements, and exemptions across Beverages, Dairy, Water, and CSD categories.
- Drive coordination across factories, Taxation, Accounts, Purchase, Logistics, Technical, QA, IT, Legal, R&D;, Compliance, and external suppliers for production planning, procurement of packaging materials, product readiness, delivery, and overall export execution.
- Manage pre- and post-shipment documentation, insurance requirements including Marine, Credit, Product Liability and Import Insurance, consumer complaints, record keeping, and other EXIM-related activities.
- Manage statutory and industry registrations and renewals including IEC, RCMC, service and CP agreements, factory certifications, APEDA, FIEO, CII, PLEXCIL, and other relevant EXIM-related memberships and documentation.
- Drive process adherence, reporting effectiveness, audit management, expense control, and team development, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, business ethics, and budget guidelines while building and nurturing talent within the team.

Requirements:





- Relevant experience in EXIM, International Trade, Export-Import Documentation, or International Business Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in export and import documentation and processes.
- Good understanding of DGFT, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), export licensing, and EXIM benefit schemes.
- Experience managing Advance License, EPCG, PEPCG, MEIS, and other applicable export incentive/benefit processes.
- Strong experience in coordinating with CHA, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Transporters, Consultants, and License Vendors.
- Understanding of country-specific regulatory, legal, packaging, and labelling requirements.
- Experience in managing pre- and post-shipment documentation, audits, licenses, registrations, and renewals.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills with exposure to Logistics, Purchase, Accounts, Taxation, QA, Legal, R&D;, Technical, Compliance, and Factory teams.
- Strong documentation, reporting, stakeholder management, and process-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities while ensuring regulatory compliance, timelines, and cost control.
