Zayn & Zoey is a children's book publisher looking to make young minds curious about the world. Our books follow two young characters through real places, real ideas, and real questions - weaving facts into story so children learn without realising they're learning.

We are a small, ambitious team growing our presence across schools, preschools, libraries, and bookstores - and we need the right person to help us get there.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven, articulate, and relationship-oriented Sales Associate to help Zayn & Zoey reach more children. This is a ground-up sales role - you will be building relationships with preschools, schools, libraries, and bookstores, and converting those conversations into orders. If you enjoy talking to people, can handle a high volume of outreach, and believe in what you're selling - this is for you.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

– Conduct outbound calls to preschools, schools, libraries, and bookstores to generate sales

– Manage follow-up calls and emails

– Build, maintain,



and manage your own database of leads and prospects

– Develop and nurture ongoing relationships with buyers and institution coordinators

– Represent Zayn & Zoey at local exhibitions and events

– Occasional travel within Mumbai, or close by, for in-person meetings and outreach

– Report on call activity, follow-ups, and conversions regularly

WHAT YOU BRING

– Fluent, confident spoken English - this is non-negotiable

– Robust persuasion and communication skills - you know how to have a good conversation

– Some experience with or understanding of how schools and preschools function (beneficial but not mandatory)

– Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and consistent follow-up
