1. POSITION PURPOSE The ESG Executive will be deployed at client organisations to support the implementation, monitoring, data management and reporting of the client's ESG and Sustainability initiatives.

The role will work closely with client departments such as EHS, HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Administration and Management to collect, validate, analyse and maintain ESG-related information.

The ESG Executive will also support Smartedge consultants in delivering ESG assessments, reporting, data analysis, improvement initiatives and client deliverables.

The position requires a professional who can convert ESG requirements into structured data, actionable activities and measurable performance improvements.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. ESG DATA MANAGEMENT

- Coordinate collection of ESG data from various departments.
- Develop and maintain ESG data collection formats.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative ESG information.
- Validate data received from departments.
- Identify missing, inconsistent or abnormal data.
- Maintain supporting evidence and records.
- Maintain ESG databases and trackers.
- Ensure data is available for periodic reporting and audits.




- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of ESG data.

3. ESG REPORTING SUPPORT Support preparation and compilation of:

- ESG performance reports
- Sustainability reports
- BRSR disclosures
- BRSR Core data
- GRI disclosures
- CDP questionnaires
- ESG questionnaires
- Customer ESG assessments
- Investor / stakeholder ESG information
- ESG due diligence information
- Sustainability dashboards

The Executive will coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate, complete and evidence-backed disclosures. 4. BRSR & BRSR CORE SUPPORT

Support Smartedge and client teams in:

- Understanding applicable BRSR requirements.
- Mapping BRSR indicators with available organisational data.
- Collecting required information from functional departments.
- Maintaining supporting evidence.
- Identifying data gaps.
- Tracking action items for improvement.
- Supporting preparation and review of BRSR disclosures.
- Coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders for BRSR Core data.

5. ESG PERFORMANCE MONITORING Track organisational performance across key ESG parameters, including:

Environmental

- Energy consumption
- Renewable energy
- GHG emissions
- Water consumption
- Waste generation
- Waste diversion/recycling
- Air emissions
- Environmental compliance
- Resource efficiency

- Training and development

6. ESG DATA QUALITY & CONTROLS A key responsibility will be ensuring that ESG information is accurate, consistent, traceable and supported by evidence.

The Executive shall

- Check data completeness.
- Perform basic data validation.
- Compare current-period data with historical performance.
- Identify unusual variations.
- Maintain source documents.
- Maintain data owners and responsibility matrices.
- Track pending information.
- Maintain an ESG evidence repository.
- Support internal ESG data reviews.

7. CARBON & GHG DATA SUPPORT Support collection and compilation of information required for organisational GHG accounting, including:

- Scope 1 emissions data
- Scope 2 electricity data
- Scope 3 activity data, where applicable
- Fuel consumption
- Electricity consumption
- Refrigerant information
- Business travel
- Employee commuting
- Purchased goods/services
- Waste
- Transportation and logistics data

Support Smartedge consultants in GHG inventory preparation, carbon footprinting and decarbonisation assessments. 8. SUPPLY CHAIN ESG SUPPORT

Support implementation of supplier sustainability initiatives, including:

- Supplier ESG data collection
- Supplier ESG questionnaires
- Supplier sustainability assessments
- ESG document verification
- Supplier ESG scorecards
- ESG risk categorisation
- Supplier engagement
- Follow-up for missing information
- Tracking supplier improvement actions

Support client organisations in strengthening supply chain and procurement sustainability. 9. ESG ASSESSMENTS & DUE DILIGENCE

Support ESG assessments covering

- Environmental performance




- Social practices
- Occupational health & safety
- Labour practices
- Human rights
- Business ethics
- Governance
- Regulatory compliance
- Sustainability practices

Assist in identifying 10. ESG RATINGS & CUSTOMER QUESTIONNAIRES

Support clients in responding to ESG and sustainability information requests from:

- Customers
- Investors
- Banks / financial institutions
- Supply-chain partners
- ESG rating agencies
- Procurement platforms
- Business partners

Support preparation and compilation of information for platforms and assessments such as EcoVadis and CDP, as applicable to the client. 11. ESG DASHBOARDS & MIS

Prepare periodic ESG MIS and dashboards covering:

- ESG KPIs
- Environmental performance
- Social indicators
- Governance indicators
- GHG emissions
- Energy
- Water
- Waste
- Safety
- ESG initiatives
- Target vs. actual performance
- Improvement actions

Support Smartedge consultants in developing management-level ESG performance dashboards. 12. EHS & ESG INTEGRATION

Since this position is part of Smartedge's EHS & ESG Managed Services, the Executive will work closely with the client's EHS function.

13. CLIENT COORDINATION The ESG Executive will:

- Coordinate with client department representatives.
- Follow up for ESG data and evidence.
- Conduct data collection meetings.
- Prepare action trackers.
- Follow up on pending information.
- Support client ESG review meetings.
- Communicate data gaps professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Represent Smartedge professionally at the client location.

14. SMARTEDGE REPORTING & GOVERNANCE As a Smartedge-deployed professional, the ESG Executive has a dual responsibility.

Client Responsibility

Support the client's day-to-day ESG and sustainability activities and deliver the agreed managed-service scope.

Smartedge Responsibility

Maintain Smartedge's professional standards, reporting discipline and service-delivery methodology.

The Executive shall

- Submit periodic activity reports to Smartedge.
- Maintain Smartedge-required trackers and records.
- Report significant ESG risks and data gaps.
- Participate in Smartedge review meetings.
- Participate in Smartedge training programs.
- Support Smartedge audits and quality reviews.
- Follow Smartedge confidentiality and qualified conduct requirements.

16. QUALIFICATION

Essential

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline such as:

Candidates with a combination of ESG knowledge + strong Excel/data management skills will be preferred. 18. EXPERIENCE

1–4 years of relevant experience in one or more of:
