The Role
We are hiring an Analyst to join our research team. You will work alongside portfolio managers and senior analysts on bottom-up company research and thematic work that feeds directly into portfolio decisions. This is a buy-side seat where you are expected to own real ideas, not just produce reports.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for analysts with 2 to 3 years of experience in equity research (institutional sell-side, buy-side, or KPO) or at a credit rating agency. Beyond the resume, we care about how you think:
- Fundamental rigour you build views from primary research, financial statements, and management interactions.
- First-principles thinking — you can decompose a business or theme into its underlying drivers and reason about second- and third-order effects.
- Long-term orientation — you are comfortable holding a view through short-term noise and revising it when the facts change.
- Intellectual flexibility — you engage with disconfirming evidence and ideas outside your comfort zone.
- Ownership and craft — you take pride in the quality of work and always looking to improve.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive company research: financial modelling, management meetings, channel checks, forensic review.
- Contribute to thematic and sector frameworks that inform portfolio construction.
- Write research notes and investment recommendations for the PM team.
- Track portfolio holdings and flag changes to the underlying thesis.
