Technical Skills Required:

Mandatory:

- 10+ years of experience in systems/software development, with at least 4+ years leading engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C++ (preferably modern C++11/14/17) for systems-level development.
- Solid experience working on Linux-based high-performance servers or gateways.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with:
- -Networking internals (TCP/IP, sockets, epoll, load handling)
- -HTTPS, TLS/SSL, mutual TLS (mTLS)
- -DTLS, certificate handling, key exchange mechanisms
- -Reverse proxying concepts;

experience integrating or customizing Nginx.

- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, including:
- -HTTP/1.1
- -HTTP/2
- -Experience or exposure to next-gen protocols like , QUIC preferred.
- Experience building systems that handle large numbers of concurrent connections, optimizing performance, and reducing latency.
- Hands-on experience writing secure code, secure memory handling, threat modelling and performing security code reviews.
- Strong understanding of security concepts, including:
- -Authentication/authorization flows
- -Certificate lifecycle management
- -Secure cryptographic practices
- -OWASP, secure design principles
- Experience in designing and reviewing scalable, fault-tolerant architectures for critical gateway products.

Good to Have:

- Experience with reverse proxy development, Nginx internals, or load balancers.
- Familiarity with VPN, ZTNA, remote access, or security gateway products.
- Knowledge of container environments, microservices, and DevOps pipelines.
- Exposure to protocol-level debugging using Wireshark, tcpdump,



OpenSSL tools.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead the engineering efforts for Accops HySecure, a Linux-based high-performance secure ZTNA gateway.
- Manage and mentor a team of 6–7 C++ and networking engineers.
- Drive the architecture and design for current features, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Perform deep technical reviews, including:
- -Source code reviews
- -Security reviews
- -Performance optimization
- Provide expert guidance on HTTPS, TLS/mTLS, DTLS, and emerging protocols (e.g., MASQUE/QUIC).
- Lead the design and implementation of:
- -High-performance server components
- -Reverse proxies
- -Connection handling layers
- -Cryptographic flows
- Ensure high code quality, proper documentation, and adherence to secure coding best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Management to define roadmap, feature scope, and technical feasibility.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, networking, and security.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in system performance, throughput, and security posture.
- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, collaboration, and high technical rigor.
