Job Summary The Vehicle Architecture, Styling Geometry Engineer is responsible for technical convergence and packaging development within Upper Body Lateral zone, ensuring alignment with product, process, performance, styling, geometry, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements. The role collaborates with local and global cross-functional teams to develop vehicle architecture solutions, resolve packaging conflicts, manage CAD deliverables, and ensure successful vehicle development from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical convergence activities for Upper Body vehicle zones
- Body Side
- Doors
- Glasses Mechanism
- Roof Systems
- Develop packaging layouts for current vehicle programs and derivatives.
- Ensure occupant space, comfort, visibility, ingress,
and egress compliance with applicable standards.
- Resolve packaging conflicts within the zone and across interfacing vehicle zones.
- Support design feasibility studies from concept phase through production.
- Collaborate with Styling, Manufacturing, Serviceability, Safety, and Regulatory teams.
