- Electronics & Communication
- Electrical Engineering
- Telecommunication
- Civil (with railway billing experience)

- Knowledge of Indian Railways standards and EPC contracts preferred.

Job Summary The Billing Engineer - S&T; is responsible for preparation, verification, and submission of client and subcontractor bills related to Signal & Telecommunication works in Indian Railways projects. The role includes quantity measurement, BOQ verification, invoice preparation, reconciliation, and coordination with site execution and planning teams. Key Responsibilities Billing & Measurement
- Prepare RA bills (Running Account Bills) for S&T; works.
- Verify executed quantities as per approved drawings and BOQ.
- Maintain measurement sheets and billing records.
- Prepare client bills and subcontractor/vendor bills.
- Track billed vs executed quantities.

Documentation
- Maintain DPRs, MBs (Measurement Books), and billing registers.
- Ensure proper supporting documents for billing submission.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and execution teams for work certification.

Coordination
- Liaise with:
- Project Manager
- Planning team
- Accounts department
- Indian Railways/RCIL/RVNL officials





- Attend billing and reconciliation meetings.

Quantity Reconciliation
- Reconcile material consumption with billed quantities.
- Monitor variations, extra items, and deviations.
- Support final bill preparation and project closure.

Contract & Compliance
- Interpret contract clauses related to billing and payment.
- Ensure compliance with Railway standards and contract terms.
- Assist in claim preparation and variation statements.

Technical Skills Required
- Knowledge of:
- Indian Railways S&T; systems
- OFC, IPS, EI, PI, Axle Counter, Telecom systems
- BOQ and tender documents
- Railway specifications and standards

- Software:

- MS Excel (advanced preferred)
- AutoCAD (basic)
- ERP/SAP (preferred)
