- Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Perform financial modelling, valuation, and risk analysis to assess the feasibility and profitability of potential investments.
- Collaborate with senior team members in structuring deals and preparing investment memos for presentation to the investment committee.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, including analysing financial statements, legal documentation, and impact assessments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments in the renewable energy sector to inform investment strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on investment performance for internal stakeholders and investors.
- Mentor and operationally manage analyst-level team members.
Key Requirements
- 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in Infrastructure, Energy Principal Investing,
Corporate Finance or Project Finance.
- Existing experience within the infrastructure sector preferred.
- Strong financial modelling skills and corporate finance fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of deal processes with demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple work streams.
- Track record of supporting delivery of transaction documentation.
- Ability to produce and quality control key internal and external documents such as IC memo, strategy, and board papers.
- Relevant qualified qualifications such as MBA/CFA would be an advantage.
