As a EMIR Engineer, you will focus on ensuring the electrical integrity and reliability of semiconductor devices, particularly in high-speed and high-power applications. Responsible for analyzing and mitigating EMIR issues, which can impact the performance and lifespan of electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Power Analysis (EMIR) and Modeling: Perform simulations and analysis using EMIR tools (e.g., Redhawk, Cadence) to predict and quantify EMIR.
- Power Integrity Analysis: Analyze power delivery networks (PDN) to ensure proper voltage distribution and minimize IR-drop.
- Design Optimization: Identify and implement design changes to minimize EMIR and improve power integrity.
- Sign-off and Verification: Provide sign-off on design for EMIR and power integrity, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other design teams (physical design, layout, etc.) to ensure a holistic approach to EMIR mitigation.
