1.JOB PURPOSE :

The main purpose of the Assistant Electrician to supports the electrical maintenance team in ensuring smooth, safe and uninterrupted operation of all electrical systems in oil processing plant, bakery production plant and rusk, cake, parotta unit. The role involves assisting with installation, maintenance, breakdown handling and preventive servicing of electrical equipment, motors, control panels and automation components.

2.CORE JOB AREA & JOB REPOSIBILITIES

Equipment and Machinery Maintenance

Assist in the installation, servicing and repair of electrical components.

Support troubleshooting of motors, drives, sensors, control panels and all electrical equipment.

Assist in the installation, servicing and repair of plumbing related works.

Assist in maintenance of electrical wiring, power distribution, lighting and utility systems.

Check and support maintenance of MCC panels, DB panels, Instrumentation panels, PLC, starters and breakers.

Routine maintenance

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.

Assist in scheduled preventive maintenance of production lines to avoid breakdowns.

Repair and Troubleshooting

Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot problems and perform necessary repairs.





Compliance and safety

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.

Report hazards, unsafe wiring and malfunctioning equipment immediately.

Documentation and Reporting

Assist in maintaining logbooks for electrical maintenance, breakdowns, meter readings.

Support inventory control of electrical spares

3.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

-ITI Electrician or diploma in electrical engineering.

-1+ years of experience in an electrical maintenance and plumbing related maintenance is a must.

4.SKILLS / BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

-Excellent analytical skills

-Excellent problem-skills

-Good communication and report writing skill

-Experience with preventive maintenance

-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and wiring diagrams.

-Robust knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor
