Role Description The EIA FAE (Environmental Impact Assessment – Functional Area Expert) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves leading and contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments, preparing and reviewing technical reports, and supporting clients through Environmental Clearance and related regulatory processes. The EIA FAE will coordinate field data collection, interact with project proponents and technical teams, and ensure that documentation aligns with applicable environmental and forestry regulations.





The role includes attending meetings with regulatory authorities, supporting public consultation processes, and monitoring compliance with approved environmental management plans. The EIA FAE will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant project deliverables.

Qualifications

- Robust Field Applications and Technical Support skills to understand client requirements and provide on-ground technical guidance.
- Knowledge of Sales and stakeholder engagement to support business development and client relationship management in environmental consultancy.
- Familiarity with Analog and Electronics concepts to interpret and work with environmental monitoring instruments and related technical systems.
- Relevant academic background in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related discipline.
- Experience in EIA preparation, environmental compliance, or regulatory advisory, preferably with exposure to Indian environmental regulations.
- Ability to analyze technical data, prepare clear reports, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and coordinating with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
