Role & responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging theatre and drama sessions for students.

- Teach students basic and advanced concepts of acting, drama, improvisation, voice modulation, body language, and stage presence.

- Conduct theatre games, role plays, storytelling, improvisation, and creative activities.

- Help students overcome stage fear and build confidence.

- Encourage creativity, self-expression, teamwork, and effective communication.

- Train students for school plays, annual functions, competitions, assemblies, and other performances.

- Guide students in script reading, character development, dialogues, and performance techniques.

- Assist students with stage movements, expressions, voice projection, and presentation.

- Develop age-appropriate theatre activities based on students' abilities and interests.

- Create a positive and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.





- Coordinate with teachers and the school management for performances and cultural events.

- Maintain discipline and ensure the safety of students during rehearsals and performances.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree or diploma in Theatre, Performing Arts, Drama, Fine Arts, or a related field.

- 25 years of relevant experience in teaching theatre/drama or conducting theatre workshops.

- Strong acting, communication, and presentation skills.

- Experience working with children or in a school setting will be an advantage.

- Ability to conduct engaging and interactive sessions.

- Good understanding of theatre techniques and stage performance.

- Creative, energetic, patient, and comfortable performing in front of students.

- Ability to prepare students for stage performances and competitions.
