Role Description The District Coordinator is a full time, on-site role based in Nalbari, responsible for overseeing the implementation of YRG’s health programs at the district level. This role includes coordinating field activities, monitoring program delivery, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
The District
Coordinator will liaise with healthcare providers, community partners, local authorities, and beneficiaries to facilitate integrated services and effective outreach. Daily tasks include collecting and validating data, preparing progress reports, organizing trainings or community sessions, and supporting awareness campaigns. The role also involves problem-solving operational challenges, supervising field teams where applicable,
and communicating regular updates to regional and central program leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in program coordination, field operations, and stakeholder engagement within public health or community development settings.
- Experience in basic data collection, monitoring, reporting, and use of standard office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse communities, local authorities, and healthcare personnel.
- Organizational and planning abilities, including time management, task prioritization, and attention to detail in documentation and follow-up.
- Understanding or exposure to health areas such as HIV, hepatitis, mental health, NCDs, or TB is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Nalbari, travel within the district as needed, and adapt to field conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, community development, or a related field; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of specific degrees.
