Raigad Steel & Roll Forms is looking for a Dispatch Executive to manage and coordinate day-to-day dispatch, loading/unloading, material handling, and transportation activities at our manufacturing facility in Murbad.
The ideal candidate should have experience in dispatch, logistics, stores, or material handling, preferably within the steel, fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate loading and unloading of raw materials, fabricated structures, sheets, and finished goods.
- Verify material quantity and condition during loading and unloading.
- Ensure proper stacking and protected placement of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Dispatch, and Transport teams.
- Verify that the correct material is loaded as per dispatch documents.
- Ensure proper packing, tying, and securing of materials before vehicle dispatch.
- Assist in crane and other material-handling activities while following safety procedures.
- Check vehicle loading capacity and suitability before loading.
- Take necessary precautions to prevent material damage during handling and transportation.
- Maintain loading, unloading, and dispatch records.
- Report any shortage, damage, discrepancy, or unsafe condition to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain housekeeping in the loading/unloading area.
- Follow company policies, 5S, PPE, and safety requirements.
- Ensure dispatch activities are completed within the planned timeline.
Requirements
- Experience in Dispatch / Logistics / Stores / Material Handling.
- Candidates with experience in steel,
fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of dispatch documentation and material records.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a plant/shop-floor environment.
- Knowledge of safe material-handling practices.
- Willingness to coordinate with transporters and internal departments.
Education 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate
Relevant experience in dispatch or material handling will be considered.
