Role Description The Director of Development is a full-time, hybrid role based in Noida, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role oversees the strategy, planning, and execution of all development and fundraising activities to support HPIPL’s growth and mission.

Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and managing comprehensive fundraising programs, cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors, corporate partners, and institutional funders, and identifying new revenue opportunities aligned with smart infrastructure initiatives. The Director of Development will collaborate with senior leadership to set development goals, prepare budgets and financial forecasts,



and ensure timely reporting and compliance with organizational policies. The role also involves leading a small team or cross-functional collaborators, preparing compelling proposals and presentations, and representing HPIPL at meetings, events, and industry forums.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, with strong skills in Philanthropy and Fundraising across corporate, institutional, and individual channels.
- Proficiency in Planned Giving and Annual Giving programs, including the design, implementation, and evaluation of long-term donor engagement strategies.
- Solid Budgeting skills with the ability to develop, manage, and monitor development budgets and revenue forecasts.
- Proven track record in building and sustaining donor and partner relationships, and securing significant financial support for organizational goals.
- Robust strategic planning, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in infrastructure, mobility, real estate, or related sectors is highly beneficial; exposure to technology-driven or sustainability-focused projects is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Development, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, mission-driven organization.
