Role Description The Director (Career Services & Placements - EDTECH) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position oversees the design and execution of career services and placement strategies for learners across EDTECH programs. Daily responsibilities include managing career counseling initiatives, supervising job search support, coordinating employer outreach, and organizing placement drives and recruitment events.
The Director will lead a team to deliver workshops, mock interviews, and career development sessions, track placement outcomes, and maintain solid relationships with hiring partners. The role also involves collaborating with academic and product teams to align curriculum with market needs and regularly reporting on performance metrics and placement results to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Career Services and Career Development for learners and early-career professionals.
- Strong skills in Career Counseling and Job Search Strategies, including resume guidance and networking support.
- Experience designing and conducting Mock Interviews and interview preparation workshops.
- Proven ability to build and manage employer partnerships, recruitment networks, and placement pipelines.
- Leadership experience in managing teams, setting targets, and driving outcome-focused initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Background in EDTECH, higher education, or talent acquisition is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
