Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, articulate, and confident News Presenter / Digital Journalist to be the face and voice of PRIME KERALA 24*7. In this role, you will lead daily news bulletins, anchor breaking news updates, conduct interviews, and script engaging short-form video content for YouTube, Meta, and Instagram.

Key Responsibilities

- On-Camera Anchoring: Host daily news bulletins, live streams, and breaking news updates with clarity, tone control, and strong screen presence.
- Content Scripting & Research: Track breaking news across Kerala, gather verified facts, and draft concise, impactful news scripts in Malayalam.
- Digital & Social Media Reporting: Develop engaging short-form video concepts (Reels, Shorts, Explainer videos)



tailored for social media audiences.
- Field & Studio Interviews: Conduct interviews with newsmakers, community leaders, and domain experts.
- Editorial Collaboration: Work closely with the news desk and video editing team to ensure rapid turnaround from news events to final publish.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Language Proficiency: Fluent, articulate, and grammatically accurate in spoken and written Malayalam. Proficiency in English is a strong plus.
- Screen Presence: Excellent voice modulation, confident posture, and comfortable working on camera under tight live-news deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or relevant experience in digital media.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of current affairs, political dynamics, and social issues in Kerala.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of digital video formats, social media trends, and smartphone reporting tools.
