- Maintenance of utility systems including: o Substation o Chiller House o DRUPS and SDMO Diesel Generator sets o Centrifugal pumps, fans, and blowers • Drive energy efficiency improvement initiatives • Maintain SLAs of the highest standards Availability Management • Ensure 24x7x365 uptime of Diesel Generator systems and auxiliaries Maintenance Management • Prepare and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for DG sets • Monitor managed service vendors against defined SLAs • Propose and implement energy optimization initiatives Materials Management • Manage spares inventory (own stock / VMI) Technical Responsibilities • Operation &
- Maintenance of: o Electrical systems (11 KV, 6.6 KV & 0.433 KV) o Emergency DG sets (160 KVA to 3000 KVA) o Energetic Rotary UPS systems (DRUPS) o DG battery banks and battery chargers o Control systems for DG and DRUPS o HT &
- LT panels, PCC, MCC, power & lighting distribution boards o Protective relays and protection systems o Transformers (2.5 MVA to 12.5 MVA) o HT/LT switchgears (11 KV / 6.6 KV VCBs & 0.433 KV ACBs) o Building Management System (BMS)
General Responsibilities • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures • Train technicians and guide junior staff during emergencies • Prepare MIS reports and maintain operational records • Manage day-to-day operations, shift rosters, and preventive maintenance schedules • Handle diesel operations: o Loading and unloading diesel into main tanks o Auto operation of diesel day tank filling systems • Testing and troubleshooting of maintained equipment • Manage control, interlock, and protection systems • Perform electrical and mechanical measurements using appropriate instruments • Ensure reliable emergency power operations • Coordinate inter-site and equipment shutdown activities • Recommend and implement energy conservation measures • Develop and follow electrical & mechanical maintenance systems and procedures • Apply preventive and predictive maintenance practices • Utilize knowledge of vibration analysis, lubrication practices, and hazardous area classification • Handle shutdowns without impacting services • Monitor fire systems and coordinate with Fire Department during emergencies • Attend equipment breakdowns and coordinate emergency response • Prepare work permits for maintenance and operational activities Eligibility – Education • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline Experience • 5–6 years of experience in Operations &
- Maintenance • Hands-on experience with Diesel Generator sets up to 3000 KVA
