Role Description The Design Engineer Intern will support engineering and design activities for facility projects, working closely with senior engineers to develop and refine mechanical, electrical, and product design concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with CAD modeling and drafting, preparing design documentation, contributing to layout and system designs, and participating in design reviews. The intern will help in basic calculations, data collection, and coordination between design and construction teams to ensure alignment with performance, safety, and compliance requirements.





This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, where the intern will gain exposure to end-to-end project workflows in mission-critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to support structured design processes.
- Understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles related to structural integrity, thermal performance, and fluid mechanics.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Basic exposure to Electrical Engineering concepts, particularly related to power distribution and instrumentation in industrial settings.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards, and to document design work clearly.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills, with attention to detail in design tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- Interest in industrial facilities, refrigeration systems, IoT/AI-enabled infrastructure, and energy-productive design is an advantage.
