Role Description The Design Engineer AE is a full-time, in office role based in the Mohali/Ludhiana. This role involves creating and refining 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools, supporting product and mechanism design for mechanical and related systems.

The Design

Engineer AE will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose design solutions, and ensure manufacturability and compliance with standards. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting , learn and implement .



The role also includes supporting customers and internal teams in the effective use of CAD/CAE solutions and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows.
- Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Electrical Engineering for multidisciplinary projects.
- Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM/CAE or PLM/PDM platforms will be an advantage.
- Willingness to learn new design tools and adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
