Deputy Manager NSS

Role & responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate NSS activities, camps, awareness drives, and community service programs.
- Manage and guide NSS student volunteers and ensure active participation.
- Coordinate with university departments, government authorities, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Organize social welfare initiatives such as cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, awareness campaigns, plantation drives, and rural/community development programs.
- Prepare annual/monthly activity plans, reports, proposals, and official documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of NSS volunteers, activities, attendance, photographs, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with University and NSS guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate logistics, permissions, venues, transportation,



and resources for NSS events.
- Monitor the performance and engagement of student volunteers.
- Support NSS Coordinator in implementing strategic initiatives and university-level outreach programs.
- Prepare presentations and reports for management reviews, inspections, audits, and statutory requirements.
- Promote the university's social responsibility and community engagement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Any graduate
- Experience: 36 years of experience in NSS, student affairs, social outreach, NGO/community development, event management, or a similar role.
- Experience in a higher education will be preferred.
