About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer / Consultant to join our expanding Data & Analytics practice. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions across modern cloud platforms.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex data projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

The position is based in Bengaluru, Pune, or Hyderabad, and is suitable for immediate joiners who are eager to contribute to innovative data initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud data platforms, data architecture, and hands-on experience with a variety of data engineering tools and technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Python. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, data scientists, business stakeholders, and BI teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet organizational needs.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,



or a related field. A minimum of four years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles is required.

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, or equivalent credentials are preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise in relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for enterprise data platforms, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
- Build data engineering solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python to support various data processing needs.
- Create data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, APIs, cloud storage, ERP systems, and SaaS applications.
- Work with Microsoft Fabric components such as Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows, and Notebooks to implement modern data architectures.
- Develop and optimize Databricks notebooks, Spark jobs, Delta Lake pipelines, and Databricks workflows to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Implement Medallion Architecture and other modern Lakehouse/Data Platform architectures to enable scalable and flexible data solutions.
- Design and implement efficient data models, data warehouses, data lakes, and Lakehouse solutions aligned with organizational requirements.
- Optimize data pipelines, Spark jobs, SQL queries,



clusters, and storage to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Implement data governance, validation, monitoring, and security practices to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and other version control tools to streamline deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement performance improvements to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, data scientists, and BI teams to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
