About The Role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst specializing in healthcare data analysis to join our dynamic team at Persistent Systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets, developing data models, and supporting integration efforts to enhance our healthcare analytics capabilities.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including healthcare operations, clinical, finance, and compliance to translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights. Your expertise will contribute to the development of scalable cloud infrastructure, automation of system health checks, and optimization of data workflows, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake and MySQL, and to influence healthcare decision-making processes through data-driven insights.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with US healthcare datasets—including claims, benefits, and eligibility data—is essential. Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing healthcare data is required, along with familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL.





Experience in creating healthcare process and data flow documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to validate and transform large datasets accurately. Excellent communication skills are crucial for collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data into clear insights.

Responsibilities As a Data Analyst in Healthcare at Persistent Systems, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive healthcare data analysis and generating detailed reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Analyzing large datasets such as claims, provider information, utilization, and quality metrics to identify trends and insights.
- Writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries to extract relevant data from relational databases for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Performing data validation, reconciliation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and integrity in line with regulatory and business requirements.
- Supporting healthcare data modeling and integration efforts by working with Snowflake, MySQL, and other data platforms to develop data marts, analytics layers, and models.
- Collaborating with data engineering teams to facilitate reliable data ingestion, processing, and integration from various source systems such as claims processing platforms and provider databases.
- Participating in analytics initiatives related to value-based care, population health management, quality improvement, and operational efficiency enhancement.
- Creating process maps, data lineage diagrams,



and system architecture visuals using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io to document healthcare data workflows.
- Documenting healthcare business rules, data definitions, metrics logic, and reporting methodologies to ensure clarity and standardization across teams.
- Partnering with stakeholders from healthcare operations, finance, clinical, and compliance teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Presenting findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and impactful manner.
