Role & responsibilities The D365 Operations Support person will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;). The role focuses on troubleshooting, incident resolution, user support, system monitoring, and ensuring smooth business operations. This individual will work closely with business teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

System & User Support

- Provide first- and second-level support for D365 Finance & Operations users.
- Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Assist users with functional and technical issues related to Finance and other relevant modules.
- Escalate complex issues to the D365 Support Lead or external vendors as required.

Operations & Monitoring

- Monitor system jobs, integrations, and batch processes.
- Perform daily health checks of D365 environments.
- Assist with configuration, data validation, and system testing.
- Support periodic maintenance activities and system updates.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and support documentation.




- Document incident resolutions, recurring issues, and process improvements.
- Assist in preparing reports on system performance and support metrics.

Collaboration & Training

- Work with business users to understand their issues and provide effective solutions on timely manner (to meet the SLA).
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and vendors for enhancements or fixes.
- Support user training sessions and onboarding for current team members.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

- Good Hands-on knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance modules).
- Familiarity with LCS, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, data troubleshooting, and integrations.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support end users.
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
