About The Role We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team remotely on an hourly contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to pioneering AI evaluation projects by applying enterprise-level cybersecurity expertise.

The ideal candidate will design realistic security scenarios, develop reference solutions, and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs related to cybersecurity. Your work will directly impact the development of secure, reliable AI systems by ensuring that outputs meet rigorous security standards and technical accuracy. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and tools, capable of working independently in a flexible, remote environment.

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity roles such as security engineering, operations, incident response,



risk management, or security leadership. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIS2 is essential.

Familiarity with security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, risk assessment capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly preferred, reflecting a professional commitment to cybersecurity excellence.

Responsibilities The core responsibilities of this role include developing realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios grounded in real-world security operations, threat detection, and risk workflows. You will create detailed reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture designs, and compliance documentation to support project objectives.

A significant aspect of the role involves evaluating AI-generated cybersecurity outputs for accuracy, reasoning, compliance, and technical quality, ensuring they meet high standards of security rigor. Additionally, you will design grading rubrics to assess AI outputs,



incorporating professional cybersecurity judgment and decision-making criteria. Applying methodologies such as threat modeling, incident response planning, vulnerability management, and risk assessment will be integral to your work.

Collaboration with project teams is vital to maintain consistency, quality, and technical rigor across all deliverables, ensuring the project’s success and integrity.
