Responsibilities
Reviewing business and functional requirements and turning them into test coverage, scenarios, and test data.
Writing, documenting, and running manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Creating, updating, and maintaining automated test scripts in Selenium or Playwright using C# or Java.
Building and improving automation frameworks, reusable test components, and supporting utilities.
Working with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA colleagues to clarify requirements and remove blockers.
Taking part in sprint planning, daily stand ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Logging, tracking, retesting, and helping prioritise defects, with transparent updates for stakeholders.
Supporting API testing or performance testing where needed, using JMeter, Postman, REST clients, or similar tools.
Contributing to continuous improvement across QA practice, automation coverage, and product quality.

Qualifications
University Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
Experience in software testing with a mix of manual and automated testing.




Turn business and functional requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
Written and run tests for functional, regression, integration, and system coverage.
Built or maintained automation in Selenium or Playwright with C# or Java.
Worked with test and defect tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Understanding Agile ways of working, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Can log, track, and retest defects, then share transparent updates with others.
You can support API testing with Postman, REST clients, or similar tools.
You can support performance testing with JMeter or similar tools.
Understand SQL and basic database concepts.
ISTQB, or a similar testing certification, would be welcome.
Experience in insurance or reinsurance would be helpful, but it isn t essential.
