Position: Assistant Director – Medical Coding & Revenue Cycle Management

Experience: 15 to 17 Years

Certification: Mandatory AAPC Certification (CPC/COC/CIC or equivalent)

Key Requirements
15 to 17 years of overall experience in Medical Coding and Revenue Cycle Management.
Mandatory AAPC certification with a solid understanding of coding compliance and industry standards.
Proven experience in managing large-scale operations with a team size of 150–200+ FTEs.
Extensive multispecialty coding experience, including:

o Evaluation & Management (E&M;)

o Surgery (Major and Minor Procedures)

o Denials Management and Resolution
Robust domain expertise across coding operations, billing workflows, and revenue cycle processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients/customers and senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in customer relationship management, operational governance, and service delivery.
Hands-on experience in:





o Transition Management o Process Migration and Stabilization o Revenue Optimization Initiatives o Productivity and Quality Management o Workforce Planning and Performance Management

Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end coding and RCM operations for multispecialty accounts.
Drive operational excellence, quality, productivity, and SLA compliance.
Manage client communications, governance meetings, and business reviews.
Lead transitions, process improvements, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
Mentor and develop large teams while ensuring employee engagement and retention.
Ensure coding accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to client requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.
