About the Role

Daulat Buildcon is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate project cost estimates, BOQs, material quantities, rate analysis, and tender quotations for construction projects.

The candidate should have good knowledge of Civil Construction, Quantity Take-Off, BOQ Preparation, Rate Analysis, Material Estimation and Project Costing.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed project cost estimates for civil and construction works.
- Prepare and review BOQ (Bill of Quantities) as per drawings and project specifications.
- Carry out quantity take-off from architectural and structural drawings.
- Prepare detailed rate analysis for various construction activities.
- Calculate quantities and costs for RCC, PCC, reinforcement steel, brickwork, blockwork, plaster, flooring, painting, waterproofing and finishing works.
- Prepare material requirement and consumption estimates.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare comparative statements for material and subcontractor quotations.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications and scope of work.
- Prepare tender estimates and commercial proposals.
- Monitor actual project costs against estimated costs.
- Assist the project team in budget preparation and cost control.
- Prepare variation and additional work estimates.
- Maintain proper records of estimates, BOQs, quotations and rate analysis.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Purchase and Accounts departments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Assist in preparing client bills,



subcontractor bills and reconciliation when required.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Civil Construction Estimation & Costing.
- Good understanding of BOQ and Quantity Surveying.
- Knowledge of Rate Analysis and Material Calculation.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and their market rates.
- Ability to read Architectural, Structural and Civil drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Project / Primavera will be an advantage.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Candidates with relevant experience in Construction Estimation / Quantity Surveying / Billing will be preferred.
