Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) to manage costing, budgeting, financial analysis, MIS reporting and cost-control activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in cost accounting, product costing, budgeting, variance analysis and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain product, process and service cost sheets and standard costing records.
- Analyze material, labour, overhead and conversion costs and identify major cost drivers.
- Conduct product-wise, customer-wise, department-wise and location-wise profitability analysis.
- Prepare monthly MIS, management reports and financial dashboards.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and operating plans.
- Perform Budget vs. Actual analysis and investigate major variances.
- Monitor production costs, wastage, yield, scrap, consumption and process losses.
- Analyze inventory valuation, stock movement and slow/non-moving inventory.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales and Finance teams for accurate cost data.
- Support pricing decisions through cost, contribution and margin analysis.
- Prepare break-even, contribution, sensitivity and scenario analysis.
- Assist in month-end/year-end closing, provisions,



accruals and cost reconciliations.
- Support internal and statutory audits with required costing records and schedules.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Develop and monitor cost and operational KPIs.

Required Qualifications

- Qualified CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Analysis.
