Role Description This is a full time, on-site Cosmetic Chemist role based at Glexon Healthcare’s facility in Ahmedabad.

The Cosmetic

Chemist will develop and optimize formulations for skin care, hair care, personal care, baby care, and oral care products, ensuring stability, safety, and performance. Daily responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, selecting raw materials, performing compatibility and stability tests, and documenting results according to internal and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with production, quality assurance, and branding teams to scale formulas from lab to manufacturing, resolve technical issues, and support private label and third-party clients with product customization.





The Cosmetic

Chemist will also stay current with cosmetic science trends, regulatory requirements, and new ingredients to continuously improve the product portfolio.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in cosmetic science and formulation, including experience developing skin care, hair care, personal care, baby care, or oral care products.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as weighing, mixing, emulsification, pH adjustment, viscosity measurement, and stability testing.
- Knowledge of cosmetic regulations, safety assessment principles, and quality control practices relevant to personal care manufacturing.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret test results, troubleshoot formulation issues, and document experiments with clear, accurate records.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with R&D;, production, quality, and client-facing teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a cosmetic or personal care manufacturing environment is preferred; familiarity with third-party manufacturing or private labeling is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, commitment to safety and compliance, and readiness to work on-site in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
