Job Title: Corporate Relations & Placements Manager

Location: PIMR (Prestige Institute of Management and Research Indore, Deemed to be university)

Job PurposePrestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore is seeking an experienced corporate relations professional to lead and strengthen our placement cell. You will drive corporate partnerships, secure high-quality placement and internship opportunities for MBA and undergraduate students, and bridge the gap between academic training and industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Outreach & Networking

Build corporate partnerships: Connect with HR headers, talent acquisition teams, and industry leaders to pitch PIMR talent.

Expand recruiter base: Identify and onboard new companies across diverse sectors like Banking, IT, FMCG, Manufacturing, and FinTech.

Organize campus drives: End-to-end management of on-campus, off-campus, and virtual placement drives.

Student Placement & Strategy

Execute placement strategy: Meet institutional placement targets and improve the average CTC year-on-year.

Secure summer internships: Ensure meaningful industry projects and internship closures for students.

Manage student profiles: Maintain accurate databases, map student skills to specific corporate requirements, and shortlist candidates.





Skill Development & Collaboration

Identify skill gaps: Collaborate with faculty to design training programs based on active corporate feedback.

Facilitate industry exposure: Organize guest lectures, corporate workshops, leadership summits, and industrial visits.

Alumni engagement: Leverage the PIMR alumni network to uncover hidden job markets and mentorship avenues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

Education: MBA, PGDM, or a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in campus placements (at a tier-2 or tier-3 business school) or in corporate HR/talent acquisition.

Core Competencies

Corporate Network: An existing, solid network with HR heads and corporate recruiters, particularly in Central India and major metros.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; high-impact presentation ability.

Negotiation & Pitching: Proven capability to negotiate compensation packages and pitch institutional value to corporate clients.

Data Management: Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and database management for generating placement reports.
