About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Corporate Development and M&A; professionals with hands-on experience managing and owning live transactions within an operating company.

You will complete structured M&A; and corporate development exercises using mock transaction materials such as CIMs, diligence reports, term sheets, and board presentations . Your work will be assessed against detailed quality standards.

This opportunity is designed for professionals with genuine in-house corporate development experience and end-to-end transaction ownership , rather than candidates whose experience is limited to advisory or support work.

What You'll Do:

- Build financial valuation and merger models, including three-statement models, DCFs, trading comps, and transaction comps
- Develop accretion-dilution models, cap tables, and equity waterfall analyses
- Analyze and compare transaction terms, including IOIs, LOIs, term sheets, and bid proposals
- Evaluate deal structures and transaction consideration economics
- Prepare management presentations, transaction data packs, buyer universes, and board-ready materials
- Support corporate development processes from opportunity screening through transaction execution
- Develop diligence request lists and synthesize diligence findings
- Build synergy models and perform carve-out analysis
- Develop integration plans and 100-day plans
- Prepare transaction recommendations and strategic materials for senior leadership

Minimum Qualifications:





- 4+ years of experience in an in-house Corporate Development or M&A; role at an operating company
- Hands-on experience owning or managing live transactions end-to-end
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Experience with DCF, comparable company analysis, transaction comps, and merger modeling
- Experience analyzing transaction structures, deal terms, and consideration economics
- Robust analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to create clear, executive-ready recommendations and presentations

Nice to Have:

- Previous Investment Banking experience followed by a move into Corporate Development
- Private Equity experience followed by in-house Corporate Development experience
- Big Four Transaction Advisory experience
- Financial Due Diligence experience
- Experience working on complex acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs, or strategic transactions

Compensation & Work Arrangement:

- Earn up to $2,000 per completed task
- Fully remote

Assessment Process: Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a practical assessment involving:

- Building a merger model using mock transaction data
- Comparing transaction or term sheet structures
