Position: CAE Simulation Engineer Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD / Kinematics)

Work Experience: 2 to 6 Years

Education: Master's / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computational Mechanics, Aerospace, or equivalent.

Work Location: Chennai

Role & responsibilities
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Structural, Durability & NVH: Perform linear and non-linear static/energetic FEA for components and sub-assemblies under operational, test, and misuse load cases.
Evaluate stress, strain, deflection, contact pressures, bolt preloads, plastic deformation, and factor of safety (FoS). Conduct modal analysis (natural frequencies, mode shapes) and vibration/frequency response analysis (NVH).
FEACo-Simulation & Load Cascading: Extract dynamic, transient,



and inertial joint reaction loads from MBD simulations to serve as accurate boundary conditions for component-level FEA and fatigue life calculations. Establish seamless data pipelines between energetic kinematic models and structural finite element meshes.
Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) & Kinematics Simulation: Build full rigid and multi-body kinematic/agile mechanism models
Software: Pre/Post: SimSolid (Preferred), Altair HyperMesh/HyperView, ANSYS Workbench, ANSA/META. Solvers (FEA): Abaqus (Standard/Explicit), Nastran
MBD Tools: MSC Adams (Adams/Car, Adams/View)
