Content & Social Executive
2–3 years | Gurgaon | Full-time, in-office
Your screen time is about to become a professional skill.
We're looking for someone who knows what's happening on the internet before it reaches the office WhatsApp group. Someone who understands why one Reel gets 800 views and another gets sent to 8,000 people. Someone who can spot a great creator, write a killer opening hook, turn a random thought into a Reel concept, and tell an editor exactly why the first cut isn't working.
Basically, if content is your natural habitat, keep reading.
First, a little about Asai. We're building a new-age cookware brand around a fairly simple idea: if you're cooking in it every day, you should know what's in it.
Swiss-engineered ceramic. Tested for 300+ toxins. India’s first cookware that comes with its own Health Report.
But we're not here to make cookware content that looks like... cookware content. We want to build a brand that's smart, culturally relevant, beautiful and occasionally a little unexpected. That's where you come in.
So, what will you actually do?Make Asai interesting on the internet.Instagram is a big part of your playground. You'll help think through what Asai should talk about, what formats we should experiment with, what we absolutely should NOT post, and how we build a social presence people actually want to follow.
Not: “Happy National Frying Pan Day! ?” Please don’t.
Turn thoughts into content.Sometimes you’ll get a proper brief. Sometimes you’ll get: “Wait. What if we test this?” You should be able to take either and turn it into something.
Think Reel concepts, hooks, scripts, carousels, founder content, product stories, campaign extensions and random internet ideas that somehow become brilliant.
You don’t have to be a copywriter. But you definitely need to know what makes good content good.
Find creators before everyone else does. You'll help run our influencer and creator universe end to end: sourcing, outreach, collaboration ideas, briefing, follow-ups,
getting content live and figuring out whether it actually worked.
We care less about follower counts and more about influence, credibility and great content.
Get things MADE.Ideas sitting in a Google Doc don’t count.
You'll work closely with graphic designers, video editors, photographers, creators and external partners to turn ideas into actual work: brief, review, feedback, fix, publish, repeat.
You should be comfortable saying: “The first three seconds aren’t working.” And ideally know what to do about it.
Be part of campaigns & launches.New product dropping? Festive campaign? New colour? Big collaboration? You’ll work with the creative and brand team to take the central idea and make it live across social, creators, Reels, Stories, founder content and behind-the-scenes.
You’ll see campaigns go from “what if...” to actually being out in the world.
Have one eye on culture. Always. We want someone curious about brands, creators, food, design, culture, advertising, internet behaviour and why everyone suddenly started talking about the same thing on a Tuesday afternoon.
Bring references. Send things to the group. Question boring ideas. Tell us when something feels dated. Valuable taste is part of the job.
You might be our person if...· You’ve spent 2–3 years working in social/content, preferably at a D2C, consumer or genuinely interesting brand.
· You understand Instagram beyond “posting consistently.”
· You’ve worked with creators and influencers and understand the chaos that comes with it.
· You can think of a Reel idea and write the first version of the script.
· You understand hooks, pacing,
thumbnails and why people scroll away.
· You can brief a designer or editor without saying “make it more premium.”
· You know the difference between a trend worth jumping onto and one that should be left alone.
· You’re organised enough to handle calendars, creators, shoots and edits simultaneously.
· You’re comfortable moving fast.
· And most importantly: you have taste.
Extra points for...· Having worked at a cool D2C / consumer startup.
· Having been on shoots and knowing what happens behind the camera.
· Knowing your way around Meta’s Ad Library.
· Understanding the basics of performance creative.
· Having a Notes app full of hooks, campaign ideas and screenshots.
· Following great Indian and global brands.
· Being the person who sends ads to friends with: “WHY IS THIS SO GOOD?”
What you won’t be doing.· Posting for the sake of posting.
· Making a calendar full of random “days.”
· Writing “Swipe to know more ?” seventeen times a month.
· Waiting for someone to tell you exactly what to do.
· Being asked to make the logo bigger. Well. Hopefully not the last one.
What you’ll get.· A ridiculous amount of ownership for someone early in their career.
· A front-row seat to building a consumer brand from scratch.
· The chance to work across content, creators, campaigns, shoots, product launches and performance.
· Work that actually goes live instead of dying on Slide 43.
· Founders who care deeply about product, brand and creative.
This isn’t the place to come if you want to manage a social media calendar.
It is the place to come if you want to learn how a brand gets built.
Sounds like you?Send us your CV. But more importantly, send us 3 pieces of content you’ve made or worked on that you’re genuinely proud of.
And tell us: What’s one brand whose content you wish you had made?
We promise not to judge. Unless you say Duolingo without explaining why.
