Role Overview

Waidon is looking for a Content Creator Intern to support the brand’s social media presence, with a primary focus on Instagram and short-form content

.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with content ideation, scripting, social media trends, and creating engaging content that educates, entertains, and connects with the audience

.

This role is suited for a creative individual who understands social media culture, has a strong sense of storytelling, and is willing to be hands-on across the content creation process.

Key Responsibilities Social Media & Content Management

- Assist in managing Waidon’s Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts presence.
- Support the planning and execution of monthly content calendars aligned with brand objectives.
- Create and publish engaging Reels, Stories, Carousels, and Posts .

- Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and other community interactions.
- Track social media insights and content performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated with platform trends, algorithm changes, viral formats, and social media best practices .

Content Creation

- Ideate, script, shoot, and edit engaging short-form video content , including Reels and YouTube Shorts.

- Develop content around hair regrowth, hair transplant procedures, hair care, patient education, FAQs, and clinic experiences .

- Create strong hooks, storytelling structures, pacing, transitions, and CTAs .

- Assist in developing visually appealing carousels, graphics, and other social media creatives .





- Write engaging captions that are informative, relatable, and aligned with Waidon’s brand voice.
- Work closely with the content and creative team to develop and execute content ideas.

Trend & Audience Research

- Research trending audio, memes, formats, pop-culture moments, and relevant social media trends .

- Identify content opportunities within the hair care and hair restoration space .

- Adapt relevant trends creatively while maintaining Waidon’s professional, credible, and trustworthy brand image .

- Understand audience interests and identify content formats that can drive organic reach, engagement, saves, and shares .

- Continuously experiment with recent content ideas and formats based on audience response.

AI & Content Tools

- Use AI tools for content ideation, research, scripting, captions, editing, and workflow optimisation.
- Explore emerging content creation tools and techniques to improve speed, creativity, and efficiency .

- Use AI as a productivity and creative support tool while ensuring the final content remains authentic, accurate, and aligned with the brand .

Key Requirements

- Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form content .

- Valuable understanding of current social media trends and content formats.
- Strong creative thinking and ability to generate fresh content ideas.




- Good communication and basic copywriting skills.
- Understanding of hooks, storytelling, CTAs, and audience engagement .

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the content team.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment.
- Interest in healthcare, hair care, beauty, or lifestyle content will be an advantage.
- Previous content creation, social media, college projects, personal Instagram pages, or a portfolio will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills Candidates who can contribute across multiple areas of content creation will be preferred, particularly those with experience in:

- Short-form video shooting and editing
- Basic graphic design
- Social media analytics and insights
- Copywriting and scripting
- AI-powered content creation tools
- Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or similar tools

The ability to demonstrate practical content creation and a solid understanding of social media will be given greater importance than familiarity with specific tools.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on, trend-aware, and creatively driven candidate who understands what makes content work on social media.

The ideal candidate should not only consume social media trends but also be able to identify an idea, develop a strong hook, turn it into content, and understand how the audience is likely to respond to it
