Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Vision Engineer – Video Analytics role based in Noida. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision and video analytics algorithms for surveillance applications, including tasks such as object detection, tracking, facial recognition, and activity analysis.
Responsibilities include processing large-scale video data, building robust models, and integrating algorithms into real-time systems on edge devices and NVR/DVR platforms. The engineer collaborates with R&D;, software, hardware, and product teams to prototype, test, and deploy solutions, while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with cybersecurity and quality standards. The role also includes documenting work,
participating in code reviews, evaluating new techniques and frameworks, and contributing to continuous improvement of the video analytics stack.
Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Computer Science and Computer Vision, with experience in designing and deploying vision algorithms for real-time video analytics.
- Applied skills in Data Science and Pattern Recognition for building, training, and evaluating models on large-scale video datasets.
- Exposure to Robotics or embedded/edge computing environments, including working with cameras, sensors, or real-time systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ and familiarity with relevant libraries/frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with deep learning for vision (CNNs, object detection, tracking, segmentation) and optimization for deployment on edge or GPU platforms.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices: version control (Git), testing, debugging, performance optimization, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Data Science, or a related field.
