Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer with hands-on experience in Solar PV systems, Hybrid Inverters, Lithium-Ion Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

The candidate will be responsible for pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and site-level technical support for Solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid inverter systems. The role requires the ability to work independently at remote project sites and resolve electrical, communication, and commissioning-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, checklists, testing procedures, and inspection reports.
- Inspect Solar PV modules, lithium battery systems, hybrid inverters, control panels, and associated electrical equipment.
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for:

- Solar PV systems
- Lithium battery systems (>48V)

- Hybrid inverters

- Battery Management Systems (BMS)

- Gearboxes

- LED lighting systems

- Limit switches

- Electrical motors
- Configure inverters, battery systems, BMS, and communication settings in accordance with project requirements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, inverter, battery, communication, software, hardware, and protection-system faults.
- Analyze event logs, alarms, fault records, and system data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Resolve commissioning and operational issues at project sites.




- Coordinate with technical support teams for advanced troubleshooting and technical resolution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and final commissioning reports.
- Maintain and monitor punch-point lists and closure reports until project completion.
- Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with project quality, electrical, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to ensure commissioning activities are completed safely and within the required schedule.

Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Solar PV system commissioning.
- Proven experience in Hybrid Inverter commissioning and configuration.
- Good knowledge of Lithium-Ion and LFP battery technologies.
- Strong understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
- Ability to diagnose electrical, inverter, battery, communication, and protection-system faults.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer/stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively at remote project sites.
- Solid commitment to quality, safety, and site compliance.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on commissioning professional with practical experience in Solar PV + Hybrid Inverters + Lithium Battery/BESS + BMS, rather than a purely design or maintenance-oriented electrical engineer.
