- Assist the chef with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Handle chopping, cutting, peeling, washing and portioning of ingredients.
- Prepare and cook basic dishes according to recipes and instructions.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning and presentation.
- Assist during busy service and ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Keep workstations, equipment and storage areas clean and organised.
- Clean utensils and equipment promptly; do not leave used dishes or unnecessary mess in the sink or work areas.
- Follow proper food storage, labelling and FIFO practices.
- Handle food carefully and prevent cross-contamination.
- Minimise food wastage and use ingredients responsibly.
- Support the chef with stock checking,
preparation and kitchen closing duties.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in a café, restaurant or professional kitchen preferred.
- Good basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation.
- Good knife skills and familiarity with basic kitchen equipment.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Responsible, punctual and dependable.
- Able to work efficiently and calmly during busy service.
- Positive attitude and good teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Someone who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
- A genuine interest in good food, cleanliness and maintaining a well-run kitchen.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
