Role Description This is a full time, on-site Commercial Insurance Agent role based in Mumbai.

The Commercial Insurance

Agent will advise business clients on suitable insurance products, including property, casualty, and liability coverage, based on their risk profile and operational needs. Daily tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting needs assessments, presenting policy options, preparing quotes, and closing sales. The role involves coordinating with insurance carriers, handling policy renewals, processing endorsements, and assisting clients with claims-related queries. The agent will maintain accurate records in internal systems,



provide responsive customer service, and collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets and deliver a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Insurance and Casualty Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options and policy terms clearly.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage and commercial insurance products, including working with multiple carriers and comparing policy offerings.
- Proven Sales skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing in a B2B environment.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and ongoing account management.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools and basic office software to manage pipelines, documentation, and reporting.
- Prior experience in commercial lines or business insurance in the Indian market is highly beneficial.
