Role Description: The WordPress Developer role is an in office position based in Kolkata. In this role, the developer will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes and plugins, to meet client requirements and brand guidelines.

Daily tasks include converting design mockups into responsive pages, optimizing site performance and security, managing content updates, and troubleshooting technical issues. The developer will collaborate with designers, content teams, and other technical professionals to ensure seamless user experiences and high-quality web solutions. The role also involves staying current with WordPress, PHP, and front-end best practices to continually improve site functionality and reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design.
- Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills,



including PHP, WordPress theme and plugin development, and database integration.
- Candidates should possess skills in Web Design to translate UI/UX concepts into visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress interfaces.
- Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills to handle site setup, configuration, optimization, and maintenance in WordPress environments.
- Relevant experience with cross-browser compatibility, website performance optimization, and basic SEO implementation is beneficial.
- A background in computer science, information technology, or related fields and prior experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are important for success in this role.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of WordPress development experience.
- Demonstrated success in improving website performance, rankings, and organic traffic.
- Portfolio of live WordPress projects is mandatory.
