Position: CMA Intern

Department: Indirect Tax (IDT) & Statutory Audit (SA)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated CMA Intern to join our team and gain practical exposure in Indirect Taxation (IDT) and Statutory Audit. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience across tax compliance and audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Indirect Tax (IDT):

- Assist in GST compliance and related activities.
- Support preparation and review of GST returns and reconciliations.
- Assist with GST audits, notices, and related documentation.
- Conduct basic research on GST provisions and amendments.
- Assist in maintaining tax working papers and records.

Statutory Audit (SA):

- Assist in statutory audit assignments and preparation of audit documentation.
- Perform vouching, verification, and basic audit procedures.
- Assist in testing of financial statements and supporting schedules.




- Support seniors in preparing audit working papers and reports.
- Coordinate with clients for required information and documents.

Requirements
- Pursuing CMA and looking for an internship opportunity.
- Strong interest in Indirect Taxation and Statutory Audit.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, GST, and audit concepts.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel will be an added advantage.
