About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud FinOps Specialist to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure costs across cloud platforms. The role will be responsible for cloud cost visibility, budgeting, forecasting, optimization, governance, and identifying opportunities to reduce cloud expenditure while maintaining performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, along with a good understanding of cloud infrastructure and FinOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Own day-to-day Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) and cloud cost management.
- Monitor cloud spending and identify cost trends, anomalies, and potential savings opportunities.
- Analyze cloud usage and recommend rightsizing, resource optimization, and workload optimization.
- Implement and manage budgets, alerts, tagging and cost allocation mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain dashboards/reports for cloud spend, utilization, forecasts, and savings.
- Work closely with Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure teams to optimize cloud resources.
- Identify and eliminate idle, unused, or over-provisioned resources.
- Review and optimize Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, committed-use discounts, and other cloud pricing models.
- Support cloud migration and modernization projects from a cost-optimization perspective.
- Establish cloud cost governance and ensure adherence to defined policies.
- Provide monthly cost analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, and optimization recommendations.
- Track and report realized savings versus identified savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align cloud consumption with business requirements.




- Continuously evaluate current cloud services and pricing models to identify optimization opportunities.

Technical Skills Required

Cloud Platforms – strong hands-on experience in at least one:
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

FinOps / Cost Management

- Cloud cost analysis and optimization
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cost allocation and tagging
- Cost anomaly detection
- Resource rightsizing
- Reserved Instances / Savings Plans / committed-use discounts
- Cloud billing and usage analysis
- Cost dashboards and reporting

Tools: Experience with tools such as:
- AWS Cost Explorer / AWS Cost & Usage Reports
- Azure Cost Management
- Google Cloud Billing
- CloudHealth / Apptio / Cloudability or similar FinOps tools
- Power BI / Excel / Tableau for cost reporting and dashboards

Good to Have

- FinOps Certified Practitioner certification
- AWS / Azure / GCP certification
- Experience with cloud migration projects
- Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure management
- Knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Basic scripting knowledge using Python, PowerShell or Bash

- Understands that FinOps is not just reporting costs but actively driving cloud cost optimization.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
