Salary: 40,000 – 60,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Site Engineer to manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at our project site in Mashobra, Shimla.

The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, measurements, billing, contractor coordination, material management, and ensuring timely completion of works as per approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction and site execution activities.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and quality standards.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
- Take accurate site measurements and maintain Measurement Books (MB) and site records.
- Prepare and verify quantity calculations, BOQ items and RA bills.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and the Project Manager.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and daily site activities.
- Ensure proper quality control and adherence to approved construction methodology.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor project progress against planned timelines and report delays/issues.
- Check material requirements, consumption and delivery at site.
- Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues at site.
- Ensure proper documentation of drawings, measurements,



instructions and site records.
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and client representatives for smooth execution.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and discipline at the project site.
- Carry out any other site-related responsibilities assigned by the Project Manager.

Required Qualification & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site execution.
- Strong knowledge of site execution, measurement and billing.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Ability to understand drawings, specifications and BOQ.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, methods and quality control.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle site activities and manpower.
- Experience in hilly/mountainous terrain or projects in Himachal Pradesh will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in government/heritage/conservation projects will be an added advantage.

Compensation 40,000 – 60,000 per month, depending on qualifications, experience and suitability for the role.
