Role Description The Civil Draftsman will support the structural engineering and project management teams by preparing accurate civil and structural drawings for ongoing projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating technical drawings, assisting in civil engineering drafting, and ensuring that designs comply with relevant codes and project specifications.





The role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to interpret design inputs, incorporating revisions, and maintaining organized drawing records and documentation. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Delhi, with a combination of in office work and some work-from-home flexibility, depending on project needs and coordination requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Civil Engineering Drafting and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to translate engineering concepts into practical drawings.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailing for structural and civil works.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software commonly used in civil and structural engineering projects.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Understanding of IS Codes, National Building Code provisions, and basic structural design principles will be an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawings and revisions within timelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, architects, and project teams in a hybrid environment.
- Prior experience in consultancy, construction, or structural engineering firms in Delhi or similar markets is preferred but not mandatory.
